It is the goal of Mount Union's Sustainability Management Advisory Committee (SMAC) to meet the growing concern for sustainability on our campus. Through education and communication, SMAC facilitates awareness and action on Mount Union's campus, as well as throughout the Alliance community. SMAC assists the University in its decision-making process in these aspects and searches out opportunities that are socially, financially, and environmentally sound. These efforts, in turn, create a sustainable, efficient, and healthy atmosphere for students, faculty, and staff.
