Robotics and Automation Engineering

Robotics and Automation Engineering Minor

Be at the forefront of engineering technology with the minor in robotics and automation engineering at Mount Union. This multidisciplinary field works on specialized control systems for the microelectronic industry, food packaging, amusement parks, heavy machinery, distribution facilities, drones, and where engineering automation is needed.
Having fundamentals in both mechanical and electrical engineering, robotics and automation engineers solve problems across both fields, giving versatility to an ever-expanding sector. The minor in robotics and automation engineering is a perfect complement to our leading majors in computer engineering or mechanical engineering.

Mechatronics Engineering

Our program encompasses the skill sets needed in the advanced manufacturing industry and commonly falls under the area of mechatronics engineering. Mechatronics engineers work at the intersection of mechanics, electronics, and control systems to create automation solutions for more efficient and simpler manufacturing.
