Transferring to Mount Union

Change is hard, and I had to really CHOOSE Mount Union when transferring because I wanted to make the right choice the second time around. It was hard to feel like I was disappointing people by changing my major and career path, but know I’ve found what is meant for me through Mount Union. Christian Lopez is someone who can make anyone feel valued. Christian asks me how I am doing -- academically and personally. He truly cares; listening to the student's full story. Dr. Kadeleck has been monumental in my professional development. He is eager to help students by giving them opportunities that will help their careers.

Why Sport Business?

My friend Gabby Smith helped me come to Mount by talking about the sport business program! I love sports, and I want a career centered in the sport business industry. The opportunities I've taken advantage of since transferring are allowing me to gain leadership skills as I want to be a female leader in sport business.

Gaining Real-World Experience

After my first semester at Mount, I interned with the Lake Erie Crushers with the help of Dr. K. I attended CBI, National Student Media Conference with RSM in Seattle this past October; this was my favorite because not only did we get to learn from dozens of media professionals, but we got to explore Seattle and have amazing conversations. I interned at the National Sports Forum in Boston in February as well.
