Favorite Memories as a Student at Mount Union

My favorite memories at Mount Union stem from the time spent with my fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Specifically, I loved being able to help coordinate and participate in our annual Greek Sing. I loved being a part of a brotherhood where everyone supported each other. Additionally, I loved the time I spent as a preview and orientation guide, and a Raider Guide Coordinator as well. My involvement and extracurriculars as an undergraduate student on campus prepared me towards my current career in a plethora of ways. My involvement both on and off campus also optimally equipped me with the ability to succeed in any professional setting that I work in.

Favorite Part of  Being in the Medical Field

One of my favorite things about my current job is simply how interactive it is along with how wide the path for gaining new skills and furthering one's knowledge is. Aside from this position allowing me to receive extensive medical training on aspects such as clinical workflows, value-based medicine, preventative care for chronic conditions, clinically accurate documentation, and team based care, this position also makes me feel like I am truly making a difference for the lives of the patients that I am treat everyday, which gives me so much fulfillment. A major goal that I would like to accomplish in my current position is to hone my medical knowledge and experience to apply them in medical school in the future. This, as I hold the long term goal of becoming a specialist physician with my own patients to treat and care for.
