Why Become a Physician Assistant
I was able to travel to Africa two years ago, and that experience opened my eyes in unimaginable ways. One of the many reasons I am pursuing this career is thanks to the experience I lived in Africa, and wanting to make a difference and help those in need. Athletics also played a major role in my interest in the human body. I love the team aspect that comes with being a PA. I love how collaborative the profession is, along with the focus of patient centered care.
Choosing to be a Purple Raider
I think the program does an incredible job of holding us all accountable to become the most well rounded and professional health care providers. We are currently learning more of the musculoskeletal section in the human body in all of our classes, and I can't control my excitement because a lot of what we are now learning, I have been able to shadow and practice before school in my clinical experiences. It is pretty neat to finally piece the puzzle together.
