Black History Month

The University of Mount Union is excited to announce the events that will commemorate and acknowledge Black history. Black History Month is an annual observance extended from Dr. Carter G. Woodson’s Negro History Week established in 1926. This is an opportunity to celebrate the historical accomplishments of Black History so that we deepen our understanding of the many contributions and sacrifices that Black Americans have made toward our communities throughout history.
