Being a Raider
I liked the quaint and personal atmosphere of Mount Union, and it offers a strong science program. Mount Union provides a well-rounded education in a fun, relaxing environment. It is a great place to spend four years. I was part of Alpha Phi Omega, as a service fraternity it helped me gain exposure to the service world and continue to be active with volunteering. I shadowed a local dermatologist while in school which fostered my interest in dermatology. I was also active in the band at Mount Union. I was a Cleveland Clinic Applied Behavior therapy intern which was my first full-time job out of college; it provided me with long lasting relationships and real-world experience in the medical field. I still follow Mount Union social media to stay up to date with all current events at Mount.
Working as a Dermatologist
I am a physician specializing in the treatment of skin, hair and nails. I develop long lasting relationships with my patients and gain their trust. I also get to perform a variety of surgical procedures throughout my workday. It’s a great field of medicine! I would like to continue my adventure in private practice and continue to grow the practice.
