A Passion for Astronomy
I remember watching the first Moon landing no TV when I was little, and then going outside to look up at the Moon in the sky. I've been fascinated by astronomy since then!
Teaching at Mount Union
I went to a small, private, liberal arts college and really benefited from the close-knit community of students, faculty and staff there. That was something I wanted to help provide for others and that fits in well at Mount Union. Our department is a supportive learning community. We push each other into doing more than each of us could do individually. My favorite part of my job is constantly learning new things with the students.
