24-Hour Play Festival
The University of Mount Union Department of Performing Arts is proud to present its first-ever 24‑Hour Play Festival, an innovative theatre experience designed to push the boundaries of student creativity. The performance will take place on Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Gallaher Black Box Theatre of the Giese Center for the Performing Arts.
This dynamic event challenges participants to conceive, write, rehearse, and stage a fully original production in just 24 hours. Across two intensive 12‑hour work sessions, students will collaborate to build a performance entirely from scratch. The rapid‑fire process encourages bold choices, honest expression, and imaginative problem-solving, resulting in a one‑of‑a‑kind production created under extraordinary pressure.
Tickets are free, thought required and can be ordered at mountunion.edu/boxoffice or by calling (330) 821-2565.
