Carr Lecture Featuring Dr. James McGrath

The Carr Lecture will be presented by Dr. James McGrath.

McGrath is the Clarence L. Goodwin Chair in New Testament Language and Literature at Butler University. His work has spanned the New Testament and early Christianity, John the Baptist, the Mandaeans, the reception of the Bible in music, and the intersection of religion and science fiction. In addition to his work on speculative stories about the possibilities of future artificial intelligence, Dr. McGrath is in collaboration with colleagues on a project exploring intersections between AI and the humanities.

Dr. McGrath will present, "AI Isn't God (Or Even Human)."
