College Life as a Student-Athlete
Time management. Time management is a skill that I have had to practice as a student-athlete. Playing football and keeping my GPA above 3.5 is not easy. Football has taught me how to balance my time in the classroom and on the field. I have become so efficient at getting my work done on time and getting great results. You have to make time to get all your school work done because of how much time football takes up; you have to make a lot of sacrifices and you do miss out on some fun and the normal college experience. but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Career Goals
I chose finance as my major because coming into college I knew I had a passion for numbers, and after taking a few classes I knew I'd made the right choice. With my degree in finance I want to have my own wealth management firm. Mount Union is preparing me for this by helping me create connections through my academic and athletic opportunities as well as learning to lead because of my role on the football team.
