Returning to Mount Union
As a Mount Union alumna who pursued her undergraduate degree, the professors are the reason I came back! The support, compassion, and belief in their students is truly what education is about. Their belief in me as both an educator and an individual has allowed me to flourish in my career. The in-depth preparation in my undergraduate degree at Mount Union (Early Childhood Education) allowed me to be a top candidate in my field. The intentional instruction that is embedded in all courses within the education department allows candidates not only to be well-prepared for their career, but to excel in the field of education.
Inspiring Young Minds
I am a 5th grade teacher that believes every child needs that single person, or people, in their life that is their cheerleader at all times. Instilling self-efficacy in our children allows them to open their minds to learn while continuously striving to be their best selves. I am pursuing this degree to be able to inspire not only students, but adults in the true art of education while creating safe spaces for everyone to thrive in.
Career Goals
I aspire to eventually receive my Doctorate in Education and become a professor at a University. I want to continue making an impact in our youths' lives by teaching the adults that will be instructing them on a day-to-day basis.
