September 30, 2026

ALLIANCE — As a result of their hard work and support from faculty, the students in the University of Mount Union’s accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program achieved a 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).

The cohort consisted of 11 students who joined previous ABSN cohorts and several traditional BSN cohorts with 100% pass rates.

"We are incredibly proud to celebrate another 100% NCLEX-RN pass rate for our August ABSN graduates!” Said Christine Keele, undergraduate nursing director and BSN clinical coordinator at Mount Union. “Achieving this milestone for the accelerated cohort speaks to the hard work and determination of our students, as well as the dedication of our nursing faculty. It is exciting to see our graduates leave Mount Union prepared and ready to make an impact as registered nurses.”

"A 100% NCLEX pass rate is an extraordinary achievement and reflects the dedication, resilience, and professionalism of our students, as well as the outstanding mentorship provided by our nursing faculty,” said Keith Miller, dean of undergraduate studies at the University of Mount Union. “The success of our ABSN students demonstrates that an accelerated pathway can maintain the highest standards of academic rigor while preparing graduates to make an immediate impact in meeting the healthcare needs of our communities.”

The ABSN program can be completed in as little as 15 months, and is one of the most affordable programs of its kind in Ohio. Learn more and apply by visiting the Accelerated BSN page.
