ALLIANCE, OH- On Tuesday, December 6, the Stark County Human Resource Association announced University of Mount Union human resource management and Spanish double major Joseph Haas ‘24 as its annual scholarship recipient. The $500 scholarship is provided to students who are enrolled in a human resource program of study at a university.

The recipient must show great character, leadership and creative skills to be considered for the scholarship. Haas, a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, Alpha Phi Omega and a member of Mount Union’s marching band, plans to use this scholarship as he further his collegiate studies by studying abroad in Montevideo, Uruguay this spring semester.

After graduating from Mount Union, Haas plans to attend law school.
