Why Study at Mount Union?

I was immediately introduced to the welcoming, growth-oriented environment here at Mount. The staff here are truly invested in the success of the students, and will not hesitate to offer extra help or alternative strategies. The small class sizes make it easy to engage and ask questions during lecture, as well as form a strong bond with the members within your cohort. Being able to pick the brains of our professors, who are also acting PTs, gives us insight into what being a clinician will look as feel like. The lectures, while long, are very interactive and constantly encourage the students to make connections between content and application.

Becoming a Physical Therapist

To commit to lifelong learning while helping as many people as possible. Being able to make a positive contribution to a person's life is what drove me to become a PT. Being a former baseball player during my undergraduate experience  helped shape my mindset for constant growth. Like all things, results do not come without adequate preparation. Bringing this mindset with me into PT school has allowed me to stay focused, hold myself accountable, and start each day with a positive, ready to learn attitude.
