Impactful Faculty Member
The staff member who has had the most significant impact on my Mount Union experience thus far is Marci Muckleroy, known as “Mrs. Marci.” She has consistently demonstrated her gratitude, appreciation, and love for me since I joined Mount Union. She has always provided me with an open door, expressing us to communicate freely regardless of any situation. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to sit with Matt Furgiuele, who has consistently positioned me to achieve success at Mount Union.
Experiential Learning Opportunities
Since joining Mount Union, I’ve had the most enriching experiential learning opportunities. The university hosts a wide range of guest speakers, and I’ve had the privilege of connecting with them for future opportunities. I've had the opportunity to hear from Andy Finn, the Director of Security for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He stood out to me because he shared that he has been fortunate to experience numerous concerts, meet influential people, and build meaningful relationships throughout his career. He also offered valuable advice, emphasizing the importance of treating everyone with the same level of respect, regardless of their wealth or social status. He reminded us that everyone is human, they make mistakes, and values friendships and relationships just like anyone else.
