Choosing Mount Union
The reason why I chose Mount Union's DPT program is the staff. You can tell just from talking to them that they want to see you strive for greatness. A few of those staff from the program are Dr. Holt, Dr. Sensor, and Dr. Waltz. But, Mount Union felt like home too. I grew up in a small farm town where everything is a small drive away and it has such a homey environment and that's exactly what it feels like here in Alliance.
Impactful Faculty Members
Dr. Holt is an amazing professor and director and you can tell she really strives to help her students accomplish their goals to see them succeed. She is not the only one though. Dr. Waltz, Dr. Sensor, and Dr. K, to name a few, are all there to make us all perfect and professional PT's. Dr. Sensor's Anatomy cadaver lab was a huge help. She is an excellent professor and knows how to keep the students engaged and interested in the course. I also worked on a balance screening in Dr. Salvatore's Methods 2 course. I enjoyed interacting with the public and actually getting to perform some techniques we learned in her class.
