Founded in 2015, Raider Racing is a student organization competing in the BAJA SAE collegiate competition. The team designs, fabricates, and races a custom off-road vehicle in a four-hour endurance race against hundreds of other collegiate teams from around the world. Students are given the opportunity to perform real-world engineering in a fun and competitive environment, allowing them to build on what they learned in previous engineering courses.

Despite its modest budget and small team, Raider Racing competes against big-name engineering schools through the hard work of every member. The team puts in hundreds of hours of hard work to compete against six-figure-budget teams, resulting in high placements, including being the best endurance team in Ohio in a Fall 2026 race.
