Need more detailed information on citation, but not ready to consult the official manual? Visit the Purdue (OWL). The world-renowned Purdue OWL covers MLA, APA, Chicago, and AMA in great detail. They also offer great resources on a variety of topics including grammar, common college genres, and graduate school and workplace writing.
Official Online Style Guides and Resources
The Chicago Manual of Style Online
The Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) Online is available to all Mount Union students. The website provides the entire guide, as well as a quick guide to citation and a “shop talk for students” section that answers common questions students have about formatting papers in Chicago and Turabian.
CMOS Online provides an online version of the current Turabian: A Manual for Research Writers online, as well as a quick guide to citation and tip sheets that demonstrate how to format sections of you paper.
This is an electronic version of the American Chemical Society’s official style guide. It’s available online for Mount Union students and faculty through the Mount Union library. If you are off campus, you will need to log in with your Mount Union credentials to use the guide.
